Allie's Birthday...

Allie planned her own 10.5 birthday party on June 27th from 10-3. She coordinated with her friends parents to find out when they could both come and schemed activities for at least 2 months. She called each girl up and talked to their moms about the plan. I love to see her creative brain at work. She is also getting more confident and assertive which is fun to see. The girls made and decorated red velvet cupcakes, had a mini restaurant where I was the cook, played Rummikub, applied make-up to each other using old Mary Kay samples & watched part of Les Miserables. They also played outside and in her room. I'm really grateful for these two great girls and the good friends they are to Allie.
